I love you, mum!

Sibling’s and I decided to give our mum a small surprise today in light of today’s Mother’s Day occasion. Got up at the crack of dawn (640am) [mum’s an early riser you see so in order for it all to be a surprise, we had to get everything done before she wakes up] to bake her a little something and to make her breakfast in bed. :)

I know I know, you guys are probably thinking it’s a pre-made mix and it’s easy and everything but forgive this baking novice here, I’ve yet to try to bake from scratch. :/

Might give it a shot during my semester break, eh! ;)

Looks yummy eh! Mum loved it! Which was most important! :) But I think it was alil diabetic-inducing. When they say ‘Empty the packet with the cinnamon sugar into the batter’, don’t empty the whole packet. :/

Dear Mum,

Thank you for all the sacrifices you’ve done for me for the last 19 years of my life. I know I’ve had my rebellious stage and might have made you angry, sad [and you probably felt like disowning me at times (I was a naughty kid :/)], I’m really sorry. I want you to know that I love you a whole lot and I don’t think I can ever repay you for everything that you have done and gone through for all of us. I might not be the best daughter out there but you’re definitely the best mum ever! Thank you for raising me, Tiff and Dom up so well! We’ll make you proud! :) I love you all over the world and back again mum!! :)
