Today has been a crazy day! Thank God for the patient boyfriend! :))) So I wanted to go to a bazaar to get some shopping done. [cause girls can never have enough clothes, don’t you agree? :D but I mainly needed flats for uni. ] So we decided to drive there blindly. As in we didn’t know the way there. At all.
The oh-so-patient boyfriend who didn’t give up on finding the way!! <3
So we got the address on the Facebook event page and used the iPhone GPS to lead us to the area. Looks pretty reliable, eh? But wait..
After making like 3406739 U-turns….
and passing by unknown foreign lands…
We decided to stop by a police station when we were in Salak Selatan [the area around the red dot on the iPhone GPS] to ask them for the exact location. Turns out they don’t know the way and they haven’t heard about any bazaar going on in that area. In fact, they told us to follow the address instead of the GPS cause the address said Petaling Jaya and the map clearly wasn’t showing Petaling Jaya. And that was after we drove for like an hour plus! Zzzz…
Oh and it was kinda funny how we had to enter a room full of policemen with their guns [they were holding it as if someone were to barge in and attack the whole police force.. lol ] so that we could ask them to move their police car that was blocking our car.. >.< Okay, random note.
So while in the car, my smarrrt brainn decided to actually just GOOGLE the place [using 3G.. can’t believe we relied completely on the GPS before that! ] and lookie look, we found the actual spot. –.- sigh. So at this point, I was suggesting we just head back home since the boyfriend was probably tired from the drive but he insisted that our hard work should not be put to waste. So off we were on our journey to Global Business Park [the building the bazaar was held]. And finalllly…
we arrived!!!! :D
The bazaar turned out okay, just okay. It wasn’t very big but I managed to get a couple of items. Got a supeeer cute white top with a really cute black bow! >.< But I couldn’t find flats cause they either weren’t in my size, the wrong colour or they ran out. –.-
In conclusion, never I repeat, NEVER rely completely on the iPhone. The journey on the road was like a trip to Ipoh and back again!! >.<
But thank you, baby for not complaining/whining/scolding and for tolerating the whole situation the whole time we were lost! :) It was a good experience la, right?!? xD The Gotcha calls on Hitz.fm were quite funny la.. :p And at least you’ll know the way to University Hospital for your attachment next month!! xD
<3 you!
