Snapshots!

Levaine.

So last month, the cheer girls and I went for a getaway. [Click link to read post on getaway] and we had brunch at Levaine. It was my first time there and golly gosh, was the place lovely! For those of you who have not been there, goooo!!! The food is surprisingly reasonably priced for such a classy place!

It’s like a warm little cottage!

Parking is a drag though but they offer valet service for only rm2!

For those who wants to breathe in some fresh air, there are seats on the outside.

They have really good ambience and the place just gives off this atmosphere that’s non-Malaysian-y. >.< It’s like you’re dining at a cafe in Australia or something.

The view from above. I must say, they did a really good job with the decor. *2 thumbs up*

Seats on the second floor. The place can get pretty full during lunchtimes. We went on a weekday and it was packed!

Let me warn you, you’re probably gonna have a hard time deciding between which bread to choose cause they all look so good!!

They sell buns filled with mash potato on the inside!! o.O

Garden salad. The dressing was really nice. :)

Don’t know what this is called but it’s filled with custard!!

Creamy mushroom soup. According to my friend, it’s not the diluted Campbell soup and it’s the yummy thick kind! :D

Cappucino. Personally, I’m not a coffee drinker but this looks good right? I might order it the next time I go there.

Okay I can only review on the croissants with ham and the bun with egg, mayo and ham. The croissant is sweet on the outside surprisingly and savoury on the inside because of the ham. Pretty interesting.

And I enjoyed the bun with the egg, mayo and ham! The yellow thing in the centre is actually egg. Don’t get mistaken though, it isn’t like egg benedict cause the egg isn’t poached. It’s actually hard boiled egg that has been cut up and mashed into small pieces and shaped into a round yellow ball-like thingy. Not bad though. But then again, I’m no critic. –.-

Tomato soup!!!!!! I love tomatoes!! Especially tomato juice! :))) This one was good! It was sour-ish but not too sour. And the yellow square thingys are slices of cheese over garlic bread. It cost only rm6.90 for a pretty large bowl! Okay, it doesn’t look big here but trust me, it’s a big soup bowl. :)

I wanna goo againnn!!! >.<

So Levaine is actually located opposite Princecourt Medical Centre. It’s near the Indonesian Embassy. Google map it! ;)
