Of swirls, loops and all things circle.

Before Wednesday, I’ve never really been to Cosmo World in Times Square. [Well I went there once with my dad and sis but that doesn’t count cause most of the rides weren’t open and I was a wuss then.. ] Plus, I’ve always had that phobia that one of the screws from the rollercoaster in Times Square would just fall off and the whole railings will come tumbling down..

But… a few weeks back, my sister gave me complimentary tickets to Cosmo World! And it’s not just 1 ticket, but two!!! So being Malaysian [we’re all suckers for freebies! ], I sucked it all up and decided to go for it!

And also decided to drag Enyaw along!

We saved rm64!!

And the best part bout going to theme parks on a weekday [and when it’s not a school or public holiday] is that there are absolutely no queues!!!!

So the plan for the day was to sit on all the rides, which we managed to do. But we didn’t go for all the kiddie rides.. Our butts would have gotten stuck in the tiny seats anyway..

I can conclude that most or almost all of the rides in Cosmo World involves disrupting your equilibrium. They all go in circles!! [I swear my Crista ampularis went bonkers that day.. ]

I think I’ve developed a fear for all things circle..

But the worst ride of all had got to be this, the DNA Mixer. I felt like I was being tossed around in a box! And just when you think that the ride’s bout to end, it starts all over! Nasty ride, this one!

Look at how I was gripping the handles so tightly.. I ended up going home with bruises all over my arms and shoulders from being jerked around too much.

But it was still fun!

And then we passed by the sand art section and I just had to stop! I haven’t done this since like primary school! And I’ve been having that sand art urge for awhile now… So… I got Enyaw to do it with me!

Okay la, it was obviously for kids.. But it’s not like they had any business that day also.. So we were just helping them boost their sales!

So we chose Nemo. Cute right?

And after 2 hours! [Yes we took 2 hours cause we’re perfectionists like that.. ]

Nice or not?? Okay, shading with sand art is crazy difficult!! Couldn’t do it.. We only found out the right method after we were done..

It was a day well spent! Plus, I finally found flats for uni!
