Turning 21

This post is soooo backdated but I was kinda on a blogging hiatus last year. Hehe But I'm back! Hot smile

Although it happened last year, turning 21 is pretty monumental and I thought my 21st birthday celebration deserved to be documented here, in my online diary. Party smile  Hehe So here goes!

I turned 21 last October and it took me awhile to actually accept the fact that I've left teenage hood behind and am officially an adult. Throughout 2012 when people would ask me my age, I'd actually have to calculate silently in my head! I would always think I'm a year younger! Laughing out loud I know! A serious case of denial! Disappointed smile But it's starting to hit me I guess with me having to go abroad and all (but let's save that story for another day!). Fingers crossed

So my 21st celebration was very small scale. My parents asked if I would have liked to throw a party but I wasn't really in the mood for a party seeing how I was in the midst of preparing for one of the most important exams of my life (!!!) (this story is also for another day! Rolling on the floor laughing )

My family and I decided to celebrate my birthday a week earlier and we chose to have dinner at a Japanese buffet, Maui! I chose the place cause I've been there before with my friends and I absolutely loved the place! And no better way to spend your coming of age than pigging out at a buffet, eh? Smile with tongue out

Cheesecake for my birthday!

I love cheese by the way (I know it's fattening but I eat in moderation people! Laughing out loud )

Picture that dad captured while sis and I were deciding on what to order. We were happy piggies.. Open-mouthed smile

One thing that I really love in Maui is their rolls!! You MUST order one cause it's like the best thing there is! The salmon (or whichever ingredients you choose) is not just filled at the top of the roll like in most places. It goes all the way to the bottom too! So you taste salmon and this really yummy crispy flakes from the first bite to the last!!! Surprised smile Gah typing this out is making me salivate.. T_T

Okay I know this looks gross but surprisingly it was quite yummy! (Honestly, we didn't order this intentionally but when it came, we thought why not give it a try? ) But I think you'll have to like oily fishes to enjoy this salmon head. Thankfully, mum sis and I enjoy fish so we could finish it!

Sis and I didn't take that many pictures of food cause we'd rather eat them than snap pictures. Laughing out loud

And this my friends is my baby brother, Dominic! Okay he's no longer a baby (he's 15 this year) but he'll always be to me! Flirt male And this boy here just got his braces removed yesterday so he's far from a baby! Nyah-Nyah And this is probably the widest my smile can go. -.- And I look like I have muscular arms… o.O

Another one where our smiles don't look so crazzzeeyy.

And this is my baby sisseroni, Tiffany! People always (ALWAYS) ask if we're twins!! We don't look THAT alike!! Confused smile And she's 3 years younger than me.. (told you I have baby face. Disappointed smile )

Then we came home for cake! We were crazy full after the buffet so we just cut the cake to 'signify' me turning 21. I like this candid picture of us! Red heart
