I’ve heard about this restaurant, Alexis a couple of times but have never actually been to this place. So on one fine day, the Foodcritic brought me to the one in MidValley. There’s also a branch in Bangsar if I’m not mistaken.
The deco in Alexis, MidValley was pretty clean and chic. Gives off a little of the Ikea-vibe with all the greys and the metal frames. A nice place to chit chat and catch up with old friends or just to chill. The prices aren’t exactly cheap so make sure you have enough $$ with you. [Pasta’s are about rm30++ per serving]
Clam chowder. Was already half way through it before I realise that I haven’t taken a picture of it. It’s pretty good chowder. Loads of clams, pieces of bacon, onions and some stuff that I can’t remember.
Linguini carbonara. [They didn’t have fettucine. ] This pasta was goooooooooood. Really cheesy and I just love the added flavour from the mushrooms.
This is also another dish you should try. [Darn, I can’t remember what’s the dish called. ] But it’s seriously delicious. I think it’s better than the carbonara. And those who knows me, knows how much I love carbonara.
Was too stuffed to try their desserts but I heard that the cheesecakes over there’s good.
Oh and just a little tip, the portions are pretty big! So if you’re not a big eater, I think the pasta can be shared with 2 people.
